  • Flooding in Cotabato, Philippines
    -At least two reported to be killed in flash floods in South Cotabato region of Philippines.
    -More than 50 families were displaced in nearby town of Isulan in Sultan Kudarat due to floods caused by bad weather.
    -Cotabato, is a landlocked province of the Philippines located in the SOCCSKSARGEN region in Mindanao.

    Tremors were well felt by the people of Ararat, Bendigo, Canberra, Craigieburn, Cranbourne, Crib Point, Echuca-Moama, Hastings, Healesville, Melbourne, Moe-Yallourn, Morwell, Pakenham, Somerville, Sunbury, Traralgon, Warragul, Wodonga and Wonthaggi.
  • M 6.0 strong shallow earthquake in Kuril Islands (@ 23 km depth) with epicenter located 137 km S of Severo-Kuril'sk, Russia. Just a weak shaking will have felt by the people of Severo-Kuril'sk.

  • M 4.3 light shallow earthquake in Northeastern Iran (@ 31 km depth) with epicenter located 28 km NW of Kashmar. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Torbat-e Heydariyeh, Neyshabur and Sabzevar.

    -Small volcanic earthquakes recorded beneath Mount Tongariro.
    -Alert Level raised from Level 0 to Level 1 and Aviation Colour Code changed to Yellow.
    -Mount Tongariro is a volcanic complex that lies to the north of Ngauruhoe.

  • Flooding in St. Charles and St. John parishes in New Orleans
    -A flash flood warning issued for St. Charles and St. John parishes.
    -Strong thunderstorm affect St. Charles, Lafourche and upper Jefferson parishes.

    -As of 01:00 UTC, TD Nine was located approximately 285 nm north-northwest of Manila, Philippines.

  • Wildfire in Horseshoe Bend, Washington
    -About 10 to 20 homes on Horseshoe Bend Hill evacuated due to wildfire.
