Rukum, Nepal earthquake injures 20, damages more than 14 houses

According to the National Seismological Centre, the earthquake of magnitude of 5.5 has hit Rukum, the Mid Western Region of Nepal. Tremor has been felt in at least 15 districts of Nepal including capital Kathmandu. Updates below

-We are getting reports of several houses damaged in southern part of Rukum mainly in Nuwakot, Arma area.
-According to Police, earthquake has damaged two storey building of Tara Bharati in Jagatipur, Jajarkot. Another significant damages have been observed in Khalanga-9.

-At least 20 people are reported to be injured in earthquake in Rukum, Nepal.

According to Anil Devkota, his families in Rukum are still outside due to fear of more earthquakes.
He personally don't hope any rescue work to carry in the earthquake area. It is already 8:20 pm there and detail report will only arrive tomorrow morning.

-Earthquake has damaged more than 14 houses in Rukum.
-People rushed out of their houses in Salyan, Jajarkot, Rolpa and other neighboring districts.
-National Seismological Centre has recorded at least three felt earthquake in three days. First in Dhanusha (Eastern), yesterday in flood hit Darchula and today in Rukum. Earlier magnitude 5.4 earthquake had hit Rukm in March 7, 2013. Click here for earlier earthquakes.

-According to the National Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 with epicenter located in southern part of Rukum in Mid Western Region of Nepal.
-Tremor was felt in at least 15 districts of Nepal including Pokhara and Kathmandu.

M 5.0 moderate shallow earthquake shakes Nepal today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 42 km (26mi) NNE of Salyan. It was 6.2 miles deep.

The epicenter of the earthquake was near the Shey Phoksundo National Park and Bardiya National Park (as seen in map).

 Light to weak shaking has been reported from Dailekh, Pokhara, Birendranagar and Tulsipur.
