Utor is the eleventh named storm and the second typhoon of the 2013 Pacific typhoon season. Typhoon Utor is expected to be strongest storm to make landfall in Philippines this year. Below are updates

Death toll from Typhoor Utor in Southern China has risen to three, Xinhua said. Five people are still reported to be missing.

Typhoon Utor in China has claimed lives of at least one people and left five others missing, Xinhua reported.
Dam of hydropower station in Gaozhou, Guangdong province of China also collapsed.
Local farmers affected by Typhoon Utor in Hongkong are said to be get registered with the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) from tomorrow (August 16) to August 26 for assistance from an emergency relief fund.

The rescue teams from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland have saved 21 crew members of the cargo ship, Xinhua reported.
More than 158,000 people have been evacuated from Guangdong and Hainan province of China.

A cargo ship has sink off Hong Kong
. Ship sank 80 km southwest of Hong Kong in the waves created by Typhoon Utor.

Typhoon Utor made landfall at 3:50 p.m. in a township in Yangxi county in the city of Yangjiang in western Guangdong province of China.

Heavy downpours have been reported in Northern Thailand. Several flash flooding and landslides have been reported in Mae Sot and Phop Phra districts.

A Red Alert has been issued as Typhoon Utor nears China, the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center said. The State Oceanic Administration has also issued a first-level emergency response.
Stock exchange trading has been cancelled in Hong Kong. 
According to the Hong Kong Airport Authority, a total of 100 flights have been canceled and 174 have been delayed as of 10 a.m. local time.

According to Xinhua, Typhoon Utor has claimed six lives in Philippines. Over 30,000 families have been displaced by heavy rains and flooding.
Utor has left the Philippines and is moving towards southern China. It is expected to make landfall in south China's Guangdong Province on Wednesday night.

Typhoon Utor is expected to make landfall in south China's Guangdong Province on Wednesday night, National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center said.
An orange wave warning and blue storm tide warning have ben issued, Xinhua reported.

According to Inquirer News, Labuyo has left at least three people dead and 54 missing.
Three Aurora towns have been placed under a state of calamity. They are Casiguran, Dilasag and Dinalungan.

According to NDRRMC, four local rescue teams are conducting SAR operations.
Typhoon has affected 31,256 people across Philipppines. A total of sixty nine evacuation centers have been opened.
A total of 1,577 houses have been damaged.

Labuyo has left at least two people dead and 44 missing
, Inquirer News reported. Fatalities are from Nueva Vizcaya and Benguet provinces.
A woman from Isabela province is reported to be missing. Video footage from ABS-CBN TV network clearly showed the woman being swept away by a raging river.

Landslide in Benguet has killed one person.
Kennon road has been closed.
As of 2:00 PM local time, at least twenty fisherman are still missing, 14 in Camarines Norte and 6 in Bolinao, Pangasinan (Source National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council).

Labuyo made landfall over Casiguran town in Aurora province early Monday. According to PAGASA, Labuyo will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Southern Luzon and Western Visayas.
Around 224 families in Albay and Camarines Norte have been displaced, The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

Labuyo is currently located 95 km Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 175 Kph and Gustiness of 210 Kph. It is now forecast to move West Northwest at 19 Kph.

Labuyo is expected to make landfall over the northern part of Aurora or the southern part of Isabela between 5 and 7 a.m. Monday, GMA Network reported.
Labuyo is estimated at 110 km southeast of Casiguran, Aurora currently.

The Utor typhoon is expected to make landfall in Aurora province of Philippines early Monday.
According to INQUIRER.net, classes in some schools in Metro Manila and other areas are suspended on Monday due to Typhoon “Labuyo”
Five flights of Cebu Pacific Air and  PAL Express have been canceled due to the bad weather (Source National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council).

At least 33 fishermen in Catanduanes are missing and 7,581 people have been stranded at various ports, as Typhoon Utor is approaching eastern coast of the Philippines, Xinhua reported.

Thirty three included 14 from Pandan town, eight from Gigmoto, eight from Virac, and three from Bagamanoc.

According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Typhoon Utor was located 130 km north of Virac in Catanduanes at 07:00 GMT.

Red alert has been issued for dozen of provinces in Luzon island, The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.

Nine areas are under Signal No. 3, PAGASA said. They are Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya, Mountain Province, Polilio Island, Quirino, Benguet, Ifugao, Nueva Ecija and Isabela.

Al together fifteen are under Signal No. 2. They are Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Rizal, Northern Quezon, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga and Cagayan.

Similarly twelve are under Storm Signal No. 1. They are Albay, Sorsogon, rest of Quezon, Laguna, Calayan, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas and Metro Manila.
