Flash floods in northwest Pakistan kill 10

Flash floods in a mountainous district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in northwest Pakistan have claimed lives of at least 10 people.

Flash floods have destroyed a madrassa, eleven shops and eight houses in the area. Several students of the madrassa and some residents of the area have been missing after the flood.

The main Kohistan Road has been washed away, cutting the Kohistan region from the rest of the district, Dawn reported.
