Tropical storm in Nong Khai, Thailand damages more than 50 houses

A tropical storm in the northeastern province of Nong Khai has damaged more than 50 houses.

More than 10 houses have became completely unlivable in Phonphisai district, as the storm had blown off their roofs, National News Bureau of Thailand (NNT) reported.

Nong Khai’s provincial disaster prevention and mitigation office is estimating initial damage.

Meanwhile, The Meteorological Department has forecast more cloudy weather and scattered thunder showers in 11 provinces, including Nong Khai.
