Landslide in Karachi, Pakistan kills 13 including seven children

Landslide in Pakistan's Gulsitan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi has claimed lives of at least 13 people including seven children on Tuesday.

The landslide that occurred at 2 AM buried three shanties located on a plot in Block 1 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar area, Geo TV reported.

Rescue workers are using mechanical tools to clear the rubble. According to BBC, landslides are rare in Karachi, where most of the land is mud and sand.
