Landslide in Maimana, Afghanistan kills two children


A landslide in Maimana, the capital of northwestern Faryab province of Afghanistan has claimed lives of two children and injured one other.

The children aged between 10 and 15 died in the landslide disaster  in the Bibi Ayena area of the eighth police district,  Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

Yesterday, flooding in central Bamyan province of Afghanistan killed five people and damaged about 350 houses.
