  • Tornadoes In Oklahoma
    -Death toll from recent Oklahoma tornadoes has risen to six.
    -More than 120 tornadoes reported, which injured at least 29 people.
    -Tornado in Woodward has been rated as EF3.

    -About 1,200 tornadoes hit United States (mainly in "Tornado Alley" which includes Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Iowa) every year which has made it a more common natural disaster. Even EF4 or EF5 tornadoes hit often. Click for earlier report on this Oklahoma tornado (Woodward Footage)
  • Very strong earthquake in Sulawesi, Indonesia (Aftershocks)
    -M 5.8 earthquake in Sulawesi, Indonesia (Wawontoa @ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 169 km NNW of Kendari.
    -People of Unaaha and Kendari will have experienced light shaking of MMI IV.
    -Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Poso, Rantepao, Watampone, Sengkang, Luwuk and Palu.
    -No immediate reports of damage or injury.
    -Last week, two massive earthquakes hit off Indonesia's Sumatra Island causing Tsunami alert to dozens of countries. Five people were killed so far.

    M 5.4 moderate aftershocks in Sulawesi, Indonesia with epicenter located 179 km NW Kendari (@ 02:01 local time).

    More than 50 houses reported to be damaged. Parliament House of the Morowali District also get damaged.

People of Pylos, Aris, Koroni, Methoni, Vlakhopoulon and Khora will have felt moderate shaking and those in Kalamata, Sparta, Pyrgos, Tripolis and Zakynthos region of Greece will have experienced  a light shaking of MMI IV.

    M 4.7 another moderate earthquake after half an hour in Southern Greece with epicenter located 13 km S Methóni. Kalamata is 49 km far. 
  • M 3.9 light shallow earthquake in Oklahoma (@ 5 km depth) with epicenter located 29 km NNE of Shawnee. Light shaking of MM IV will have felt by the people of  Prague, Chandler,Stroud, Boley, Shawnee and McLoud. People in Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Enid, Claremore, Chickasha, McAlester, The Village, Owasso and El Reno will have experienced weak shaking of MMI II-III.   • M 4.0 moderate very shallow earthquake in North eastern Iran (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 21 km NW Bojnurd. Light to weak shaking will have felt across Esfarayen and Bojnurd.

  • M 5.0 moderate shallow earthquake in Gulf of California (sea water @ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 152 km E of La Paz (Baja California Sur, Mexico). Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Navolato and La paz.

    -Vapor and smoke spewed in the air from Popocatépet (Popo) volcano.
    -Special warning issued to the nearby residents to stay away at least seven miles away from the volcano's crater.

  • Flooding risk in Sydney, Australia
    -Heavy rainfall forecast in Sydney this week which may cause flash flood in several area.
    -Average rainfall of 15mm an hour expected which is enough to cause floods.
    -Last month several local government areas were declared as natural disaster area in Australia following floods.

    -Drought, a  major natural disaster in England this year, has affected even London, the South East, East Anglia and parts of Yorkshire.
