  • Deadly storms in Buenos Aires, Argentina
    -Death toll has risen to 15 (earlier 13)
    -Heavy rainfall and hailstorm caused huge destruction
    -More than 500 people evacuated. Damage to property of several million pesos
    -Four people killed in Buenos Aires City. Four other in Moreno, one in Quilmes, one in Florencio Varela, one in Isidro Casanova, one in Gonnet, one in Flores and another in Avellaneda.

    -Several streets in Lake city flooded
    -Rock slide reported on Beech Grove Road near Lake City
    -Thunderstorm watch was issued for East Tennessee state
  • Flooding continues in Fiji
    -Death toll at seven

  • Heavy rainfall and hailstorm killed one person in Darjeeling region of India.  Snowfall also reported in Queen of the Hills. A two hour downpour led to flooding in low lying areas which affect the train service too.
  • Two Wildfires reported in Winslow Wildlife Management Area in South Jersey, USA. One fire covers about 25 acres which is 50 percent contained. The another is affecting 100 acres which is less contained.
