Update
-At least 35 people injured in tornado in Gandia city of Valencia, Spain.
-Fifteen of the 35 hurt were seriously injured.
-Local Police closed traffic to the plaza del Prado, the streets Villalonga, Vallier, Vicente Ferrer Foundation Pari and Raval Mosque because of the damage caused by the storm.

Update
-Death toll from Spain floods has risen to eight.
-Four of the victims were in the coastal provinces of Malaga and Almeria.

-A red alert issued in Málaga and Almería. Orange alert is issued in Castilla-La Mancha and Valencia and similarly Yellow Alert in Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo area of Spain.
-Excessive rain caused flooding in Malaga province of Spain. The woman killed in El Puente, Alora. The woman was in her 80s.
-Around 9,000 people evacuated from the flooded town including Cártama and Villanueva del Rosario.
-A flight with a destination Málaga has been diverted to Sevilla.
-Landslide closed the road section between Fuente de Piedra and Antequera Santa Ana.
-The Guadalhorce River has overflowed and caused extensive damage throughout the area.
-More than 300 emergency personnel are working in province of Malaga to help residents and tackle the flood.
-Málaga is a city and a municipality in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain.
