  • M 3.3 weak shallow earthquake in Washington (@ 13 km depth) with epicenter located 10 km ESE from Rock Island. It will have well felt by the people of Quincy, East Wenatchee Bench, Malaga, Palisades and Ellensburg.

  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Pakistan (@ 25 km depth) with epicenter located 44 km W from Dera Ghazi Khan. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Multan and Bahawalpur.

  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Gulf of Paria, Venezuela (@ 48 km depth) with epicenter located 26 km SSW of Gueiri. It will have faintly felt by the people of Point Fortin, San Fernando and Port-of-Spain (Trinidad and Tobago).

Ongoing Major River Floods (Based on Satellite observation): Argentina, Australia (Darling), Brazil (Rio Paranaiba, Madeira and Tocantins), Cameroon (Benue), Chad, China (Mekong and Huang He), Colombia (Magdelena), Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ubangi), Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya (Ahero Bridge), Laos (Mekong), Madagascar, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria (Benue), Paraguay (Parana), Panama, Peru (Ucayali), Senegal, United States (Colorado and Ohio) and Venezuela (Orinoco).
  • Flash floods in Assam, India
    -Flooding in Chamaong, Gainadi, Ziadhol, Kumotia and Lali rivers have affected 90 villages in Dhemaji district.
    -Flood affected 2.5 lakh people mainly in Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts.
  • Flooding in Bangkok, Thailand
    -Bangkok is in high alert for heavy flooding starting tomorrow.

  • Flash floods in Tuba city, Arizona
    -Floods washed away part of State Route 264, east of Tuba City.

    -As of 03:00 UTC, TS Nadine was located 1320 km ENE of the Lesser Antilles.
    -Nadine is moving toward the northwest near 16 mph and is expected to become a hurricane
    late today. No threat to land.
  • Tropical Storm Kristy
    -As of 03:00 UTC, TS Kristy was located 275 km SSW of Cabo Corrientes Mexico and 610 km SSE of the southern tip of Baja California.
  • Typhoon Sanba
    -As of 03:00 UTC, Tyhoon Sanba was located 700 nm south-southeast of Kadena AB, Japan.
    -Strong winds and high waves forecast in Jeju, Korea on Sunday.
