Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Taupo, Turangi, Tokoroam, Murupara, Rotorua and Kawerau. People of Tauranga, Napier, Hamilton, Hastings and Gisborne will have felt weak shaking of MMI IV.

  • Tropical Storm Maria

    -Lightning-caused wildfire in Tonto National Forest in northern Arizona.
    -Fire has burned more than 100 acres.
    -Two air tankers and two helicopters plus three planes are struggling to control the blaze.
