Update 01:05 UTC; October 28, 2012
-The Northern Ontario community of Wawa could be under a state of emergency for two or three weeks more.
-Following Mayor Linda Nowicki, rebuilding the washed out roads in wawa could cost about $10-million to $15-million.
-The northern Ontario town is currently seeking provincial funding for repairs to roads, bridges caused by heavy rainfall.

-State of emergency declared in Northern Ontario Community of Wawa. Heavy rainfall washed out the Trans-Canada Highway.
-Floods water closed a part of Highway 17 at Catfish creek. An area 25 kilometres south of Wawa on the same highway was also closed.
-Landslide reported in Michipicoten First Nation and Long Beach Road.
-Following Wawa mayor Linda Nowicki, there have been no reports of injuries.
-Wawa is a township in the Canadian province of Ontario, located within the Algoma District (Photo The highway washed away in Wawa, Ontario, OPP) .
