  • M 5.1 moderate deep earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines (@ 126 km depth) with epicenter located 21 km ESE of Lamitan. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Caburan, Malita, Alabel and Davao.

  • M 4.4 light earthquake in Pakistan (@ 35 km depth) with epicenter located 30 km W of Miram Shah. It will have well felt by the people of Bannu, Khost and Gardez (Afghanistan).

  • M 3.7 light shallow earthquake in Central California (@ 6 km depth) with epicenter located 12 km NW from Pinnacles. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Soledad, Paicines, Morgan Hill, Pebble Beach, Tres Pinos and Hollister.

    -As of 12:00 UTC, TC Three was located 465 nm east-northeast of chennai, India.
    -Tropical Cyclone 3 is currently spinning at 40 mph and producing gusts to 50 mph as well.

  • Wildfire in Smokies, North Carolina
    -Wildfire burned 50 acres inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Cherokee, N.C
    -About 20 firefighters from the park service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs are struggling to control the blaze.
