    People from Yona, Guam are reporting moderate shaking. But there are no reports of any earthquake in the Guam area. None of the international seismological agencies have reported any earthquake in Guam. May be the earthquake in Guam be of less intensity (<M 4.0).   • M 3.0 weak earthquake in Puerto Rico (@ 22 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km SE from G. L. García. It will have well felt by the people of Orocovis, Caguas, San Lorenzo, Yabucoa, Juncos, Gurabo, Humacao, San Juan and Carolina.

  • M 5.7 strong shallow but harmless sea quake in Tonga (@ 9 km depth) with epicenter located 54 km ESE of Hihifo. It will have just faintly felt by the people of Apia, Tafuna, Leone, Pago Pago (American Samoa).

  • M 5.0 moderate earthquake in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia (@ 58 km depth) with epicenter located 92 km W of Kuripan. Weak tremor will have felt as far as Jakarta.

  • M 3.2 light shallow earthquake in Island of Hawaii, Hawaii (@ 21 km depth) with epicenter located 18 km SE from Waimea. It will have well felt by the people of Hilo, Honokaa, Waikoloa, Kamuela and Paauilo.

Ongoing Major River Floods (Based on Satellite observation): Afghanistan (Amu Darya), Australia (Darling), Bolivia (Madre de Dios), Brazil (Tocantins), Chad (N Djamena), China (Mekong and Huang He), Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ubangi), Dominican Republic, Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq (Shatt al Arab and Tigris), Kenya (Tana), Philippines, Sudan (Blue Nile, White Nile), Syria (Euphrates), Tanzania.


Recent Volcanic Activity
Erupting Volcanoes: Fuego, Santiago, Poas, Reventador, Nyiragongo, Ol Doniyo Lengai, Raung, Erta Ale, Paluweh, Gamalama, Batu Tara, Sakurajima, Manam, Ulawun, Tolbachik and Kilauea volcano.
  • El Hierro/Canary Islands (Spain) recent volcanic activity
    -Multiples earthquakes in the range of magnitude 1-2 have occurred in Canary Islands.
    -Around 9 earthquakes have occurred at the depth of 10-15 km depth in the central part of Canary Islands.

  • Tropical Cyclone Garry
    -As of 12:00 UTC, TC Garry was located 550 nm southwest of bora bora, society islands.
    -Garry is forecast to move across Raratonga, towards Mangaia, in the next 24 hours.
