    Landslide in Mt. Diwalwal in Monkayo, Compostela Valley, Philippines has killed one people.
    -The rain-triggered avalanche also injured six others.
  • Avalanche in Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Canada
    -Avalanche disaster in Revelstoke Mountain Resort in southeastern British Columbia has killed one and injured three others.
    -The Canadian Avalanche Center  has upgraded the avalanche risk to "high" for most of British Columbia.
  • Firefighters are currently  battling a forest fire in Dome Valley, 10 kilometres north of Warkworth, Matakana, New Zealand.
