Strong earthquake in Panama-Costa Rica border shakes San Jose

USGS estimates maximum shaking intensity of VII (very strong) in the epicenter area. People are reporting weak tremor as far as from Naranjo and Palmar. Both places are 200+ km far from epicenter area. How was the shaking in your area? Kindly share in the comment section below. 

M 5.6 strong earthquake shakes Panama-Costa Rica border region today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 12km SSW of Guabito. It was 7.0 miles deep.

Earthquake occurred  in Panama-Costa Rica border region and the tremor was felt as far as San Jose.
