    -Magnitude 6.4 very strong earthquake rattled Taiwan.

  • Sakurajima volcano eruption in southern Japan
    -Sakurajima volcano in southern Japan erupted Friday evening prompting officials to issue an orange warning.

  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Greece (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 19 km SSE of Ierapetra. Weak tremor will have been felt as far as Agios Nikolaos and Irákleion.
